Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 July 2026

Welcome to Site Notice. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites sitenotice.co.uk and newneighbour.co.uk (the "Service"), operated by TJ Peanut Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By registering an account or using any part of our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the platform.

1. Account eligibility and use

Commercial purpose — the Service is a business-to-business (B2B) platform built for professional tradespeople, contractors and home-services firms. It is not intended for consumer use.
Account security — you are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Any activity occurring under your account is your responsibility.
Geographic scope — our leads and database cover public records within the United Kingdom.

2. Payment processing and billing

Payment processing via Stripe — all financial transactions, subscriptions and recurring payments are processed securely by our third-party payment partner, Stripe. By signing up for a paid subscription you agree to Stripe's service terms alongside our own.
Subscription plans — paid access is determined by plan, each covering a set radius around your registered business address, billed monthly or yearly.
Upgrades — upgrading your plan grants access to the wider coverage immediately, and billing adjusts proportionally.
Cancellation — no-term monthly plans — no long-term commitment. You can cancel at any time through your Account settings; your subscription remains active until your next renewal date and then ends.
Cancellation — 12-month term and yearly plans — these run for the full 12-month term you have committed to, in exchange for the lower price and any associated promotional benefits. At the end of the term the plan renews automatically for a further term. We will send renewal reminder emails at least 30 days and again approximately 7 days before each renewal. If you cancel within 30 days after a renewal date, we will refund that renewal payment in full; otherwise cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current term.
Refunds — other than the term-renewal refund window described above, payments are non-refundable once processed, as access to lead data is provisioned immediately; on cancellation you retain access to the end of the paid period rather than receiving a refund.

3. Intellectual property and data use restrictions

All data summaries, plain-English titles and summaries, platform code, styling and branding are the property of TJ Peanut Limited. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and use lead information to solicit business directly for your own firm.

Prohibited use — you must not copy, scrape, extract, redistribute or systematically download database information by automated tools, scripts or bots, nor use the Service to build an external competing database or service.

4. Mail list feature rules

When sending a letter via our Mail list tool, you acknowledge that letters are dispatched via third-party print-and-post partners. You agree not to include defamatory, harassing or unlawful content in any letter. We do not guarantee response rates, replies or any specific commercial outcome from letters sent via the Service.

5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Accuracy of public data — we present public records (planning registers, council filings and public EPC data) as plain-English summaries. We do not guarantee the completeness, timeliness or on-site accuracy of the underlying records, which originate from third-party public sources.
Update frequency — planning data is updated weekly; EPC and HM Land Registry data monthly; council rental-register data quarterly. Rental-register coverage varies by local authority and is not available in all areas.

Limitation — to the maximum extent permitted by the law of England and Wales, TJ Peanut Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or business disruption arising from your reliance on platform data or from technical downtime.

6. Launch promotion

Our launch prize draws are governed by separate terms and conditions, available on the Prize draws page.

7. Governing law
